What Is The Chelsea Flower Show?
The RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) Chelsea Flower Show is a firm show in the events calendar in London. Thousands will flock to see beautiful botanical and garden showcases, with the royal family and celebities in attendance.
Princess Catherine, Kate Middleton, even co-designed the Back To Nature garden spectacular in 2019 and attended the Children's Picnic last yea.
With the hot topic of sustainability on every gaden designer's mind, we're hopeful the show will bring new thought and ideas on creating a more sustainable future through landscape architecture; a vision many of us can bring into our own gardens to help foster wildlife and reduce emissions, with a focus on becoming a more circular nation, at home as well as in the workplace.
As lovers of nature and our planet, at Abstract House, we are avid fans of this special event in London's horticultural calendar and look forward to seeing the event.

La Mia Venezia, by Michela Trinca
Designed as an imagined client balcony in the UK, this concept is interesting since in the UK housing restrictions means that private gardens are becoming more scarce each year. For those that haven't escaped to the idyllic Countryside, what options are there? A private floral eden balcony is just the answer.

One of our key values here at Abstract House is sustainability. We are strong advocates of eco-friendly incentives and support projects that raise awareness and protect our planet. As a celebration of recycling, one of the RHS's key sustainable initiatives is their Repurposed exhibition - created as a way of reusing pieces from the past 10 years shows. This is a fantastic incentive to reduce waste and one that matches our values.
