Meet Our Founders

Abstract House was founded in 2016 by Summer and Omar Obaid. The story began a few years earlier when the couple moved to West London and Summer asked Omar to create a painting for their new home.

Following dinner parties, friends and family loved Omar's painting so much they requested commissions of their own. Soon, Omar began exhibiting at art exhibitions and fairs and his work was featured in magazines including Livingetc and Sheerluxe, and also discovered by international interior designers and architects.

Abstract House was born to make beautiful, original art accessible to everyone - blending fine craftsmanship and quality materials as we believe in art made the right way, without compromising on quality.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. For over a decade, we've been connecting art lovers with pieces they love, and truly enjoy living with.
