Warm orange and deep black tones meet expressive brushwork in this timeless, understated abstract composition. In Infinity 35, expressive brushwork and layered marks establish the character of the botanical composition. Leaf-like shapes and flowing contours give the composition movement while keeping the overall arrangement elegant and controlled. The result is an original painting with a confident visual presence and enough subtlety to reward closer viewing.
The composition recalls the organic silhouettes, movement and imperfect beauty found in nature, translated through orange, black and green tones and a restrained set of supporting tones. Colour is used to create atmosphere as much as contrast. Subtle shifts between the dominant and supporting tones keep the surface visually varied without disturbing the overall balance. The warmer colour story gives the artwork confidence and personality while the composition keeps the effect controlled.
