Deep black and earthy brown tones meet expressive forms in this refined, contemporary composition. The character of Infinity 15 comes from layered forms and expressive mark-making, used with restraint across the botanical composition. Leaf-like shapes and flowing contours give the composition movement while keeping the overall arrangement elegant and controlled. The original painting retains a strong focal presence while allowing quieter passages to give the composition room to breathe.
Echoing the organic silhouettes, movement and imperfect beauty found in nature, the palette is built around black, brown and yellow tones, supported by quieter secondary colours that bring variation to the composition. The palette is carefully controlled, so brighter or darker accents add interest without pulling attention away from the composition. The finished piece feels expressive but considered, with a balance that works equally well at a distance or viewed up close.
