Soft blue and muted yellow tones meet expressive forms in this refined, contemporary composition. Euphoria is shaped through layered forms and expressive mark-making, giving the abstract composition a clear sense of structure and movement. Overlapping fields, gestural marks and quieter areas of space create depth without fixing the composition to a literal subject. As an original painting, it feels polished and considered while keeping the artwork itself firmly at the centre.
The visual language takes cues from colour, movement and the spontaneous language of contemporary abstraction. Blue, yellow and brown tones anchor the palette, with secondary notes adding nuance and depth rather than competing for attention. The secondary colours are used sparingly, adding depth and contrast while allowing the main palette to remain clearly defined. The cooler palette gives the piece an atmospheric quality, balancing calm with enough contrast to retain presence.
