Muted yellow and soft gold tones meet expressive brushwork in this timeless, understated abstract composition. The character of Beyond A Dream 2 comes from expressive brushwork and layered marks, used with restraint across the botanical composition. Organic silhouettes and curved forms create a natural rhythm, balanced by quieter areas of open space. The original painting retains a strong focal presence while allowing quieter passages to give the composition room to breathe.
At the heart of the artwork is yellow, gold and brown tones, chosen to support the composition rather than dominate it. The forms and colour relationships evoke the organic silhouettes, movement and imperfect beauty found in nature. Subtle shifts between the dominant and supporting tones keep the surface visually varied without disturbing the overall balance. Bold colour provides the focal energy, tempered by quieter areas that keep the overall piece refined rather than overpowering.
