Original Abstract Paintings, Painted in London
An original abstract painting brings something no print can: the physical surface of the work. Layers of paint, visible brushwork and texture catch the light differently through the day, so the piece keeps changing on your wall. Every painting here is one of a kind. Once it's sold, it's gone. Each comes strung on the back, ready to hang as soon as it arrives.
View in Person or Commission Your Own
Buying original art online should feel as considered as buying it in a gallery. You can book a viewing at our showroom to see a painting's scale, colour and texture in person before you decide. If you can't find exactly what you're looking for, our in-house artists can create a bespoke painting for your space, in the size and palette you need. Choosing an Abstract Painting for Your Home
Start with the wall, then the palette. Above a sofa or sideboard, a large abstract painting around two-thirds the width of the furniture makes the strongest impression; in a smaller room, a medium piece with plenty of space around it can feel just as considered. Pick up one or two colours already in the room and let the painting carry them. For a calm space, look for soft, layered neutrals. To bring energy to a living room, choose something bold and gestural.
