Creating a grid wall is one of the most popular ways to use square art, but getting the spacing perfect can feel intimidating. Here is a simple "no-fail" method:

Plan on the Floor: Before making any holes, lay all your framed prints on the floor. Arrange them in your desired grid (e.g., 2x2, 3x3) and use a tape measure to set the spacing between them. A 2-3 inch gap is standard and looks professional.

Make a Paper Template: Trace each frame onto a large sheet of kraft paper (or tape pieces of paper together). Mark the exact spot on the paper where the nail or hook needs to go for each frame.

Tape it to the Wall: Use painter's tape to tape your large paper template to the wall. Use a level to make sure your entire template is perfectly straight.

Drill or Nail: Now, simply drill or hammer your nails directly through the marks you made on the paper.

Remove and Hang: Tear the paper template away from the wall. You are left with perfectly spaced hooks. Hang your prints, step back, and enjoy your flawless grid!
