Large Canvas Wall Art

Our canvases are giclée printed with archival pigment inks onto 100% cotton canvas, which holds fine detail and rich colour. Each one is hand-stretched in our UK studio, finished in a float frame that leaves a slim shadow gap around the edge, and strung on the back with cord, so it arrives ready to go straight on the wall.

A single large canvas makes the boldest statement and suits a chimney breast, a bed wall or the space above a sideboard. Sets of two or three work well on long walls and above wider sofas, where one piece might not cover enough width. As a guide, aim for art that fills around two-thirds of the furniture below it, and leave 5–10 cm between canvases in a set so they read as one piece.

Large canvases come into their own in living rooms, dining rooms, stairwells and open-plan spaces, and in offices and receptions where art needs to hold its own at a distance. Because canvas is unglazed, there's no reflection from windows or lighting, which makes it a good choice for bright rooms. Looking for framed prints or original paintings at a similar scale?
